Common questions
Why equity instead of just paying more cash?
Our standard rates are €8K–€18K/month. Founders who offer equity get a significantly reduced retainer (€2.5K–€10K/month) in exchange — it aligns our incentives with your success and gives you access to better talent. Equity is optional: if you'd prefer cash-only, just pay the standard rate.
What happens if we part ways?
You keep everything: all code, repositories, documentation, and infrastructure access. We keep only vested equity proportional to time invested. If we part at 12 months on the Standard tier, you keep everything built and we retain 2.5% (12/36 × 7.5%). Clean separation.
Who owns the IP?
All intellectual property created during the engagement belongs to you. We sign NDA and IP assignment agreements before starting. Your code lives in your repositories from day one.
What are my ongoing costs beyond the retainer?
AWS infrastructure (€50–500/month, billed direct to you) and any third-party services you adopt — Stripe, SendGrid, etc. Total all-in is typically €2,600–11,000/month. Compare that to 2–3 in-house developers at €15–24K/month.
Can I see your past work?
Yes. We share anonymised case studies, arrange reference calls with current and past clients, and walk through our requirements and technical spec documents in detail. Just ask during your discovery call.
What if I need to scale beyond one TPO?
We can add additional Technical Product Owners on similar terms, transition you to a dedicated team model, or help you hire and onboard your own in-house team when the time is right. We flex with your growth.
